A coincidence is defined as a remarkable similarity of events without an apparent casual connection. It is when two or more events happen at the same time which is unexpected and considered unlikely. People often refer to situations as a ‘coincidence’ when they meet someone whose children have the same birthday as their child; they may also call it a coincidence if they move next door to someone with the same exact last name but are not related to each other. These events are never planned or arranged; they just are.
Truth and Science behind Coincidence
From our past to our present, to our future every event we partake in is connected or linked to each other. It does not matter how significant or insignificant the event is, it is all about synchronicity. The term synchronicity was assigned by Jung, a psychotherapist and used to describe occurrences that happen without any apparent cause, but have a deep meaning. Synchronicity and coincidence have much the same definition except with synchronicity there is a reason for the event versus coincidence which means it occurs due to chance or luck.
It is not an original observation, but coincidence can be explained, even described, as something to be expected. When the laws of chance are put together with human motivations and desires, one can expect a coincidence to occur. When you experience someone saying or doing the same exact thing as you, your first thought is, “What a coincidence.” You should not think this way as there are no coincidences; there is only synchronicity.
Message from the Universe
The universe sends you messages throughout your daily life. Whether your day had you experiencing a rough spot, or it was a beautiful day which had you feeling a lot of coincidences occurred, you have received a message from the universe. There is a way to accept this as synchronicity and explain why you have something happen at the same exact moment as someone else.
Synchronicity occurs when you truly want something as it makes it far more likely that you will meet that thing. This desire explains why similar people meet each other in what they think or call an ‘accident’ or a ‘coincidence’ but is actually synchronicity. They are tuned to the exact same frequency as each other and therefore matched.
Examples of Synchronicity
Synchronicity connects the spiritual world to the material world with symbols we may not always understand. Some examples of this are the same numbers always showing up in your life. Another example is someone coming out of nowhere to help just when you need it most and is someone you’ve never met before. Still, another would be meeting someone new who talks about something that has happened using sentences that sound just like ones you would use yourself.
Synchronicity will work better for you once you start believing in it. You need to believe in it and stop crediting coincidence or accidents to the incidents. When you understand synchronicity and start looking at it as a committed person, you will be able to connect better with your inner sync. This connection will allow you to stop working so hard to make things happen and instead just allow them to happen naturally.
Can you Create Synchronicity?
When you begin to understand how synchronicity works and how it can occur in your life, you’ll see it is a simple mindset shift or decision you make that is followed by opportunity. Being true to yourself and passions will enable you to discover that synchronistic events can occur more often. Thinking good things can only happen to lucky people is a sign you are living off course. It may be a sign you are settling for less than you deserve and are afraid to set out looking for good things to happen.
You need to be true to yourself and honest to understand how the universe can shift to support you. This mindset means you have to be ready the next time an opportunity shows up to improve your life; you have to be willing to say, “Yes.” You have to be willing to take the chance of changing jobs, moving across the country, or any other small window opens that offers you a change and improvement to how you are living. This willingness to take a chance will be your way of creating synchronicity, miracles, or luck in your life.
Think of synchronicity as your mirror. When you believe in it and commit to it, it will reflect back to you. By creating your synchronicity, you will become a better person, increase your confidence, and be able to commit yourself to all positive opportunities that come your way.
